International investment group 3i has appointed David Hutchison, currently its senior independent director, as chair of the board.
He is expected to take up the role after the company’s AGM next month.
The company has also announced the appointment of Lesley Knox as a non-executive director. Knox joins the board this month.
Simon Thompson, 3i’s outgoing chair, said: “David has been an outstanding senior independent director and I wish him every success as he takes over as chairman. I would also like to welcome Lesley Knox, who brings a wealth of international, strategic and financial services experience to the board.”
