Glencore appoints David Wormsley as independent non-executive director
The newest addition to the board at the mining giant is a former chair of UK banking and broking at Citigroup.

David Wormsley has joined the board of mining and commodities trading company Glencore as an independent non-executive director.
Wormsley was previously chair of UK banking and broking at Citigroup (formerly Schroders). He is currently a non-executive director of Stanhope.
Kalidas Madhavpeddi, Glencore chair, commented: “The directors are very pleased to welcome David Wormsley to our board. He brings extensive knowledge of the corporate and banking sectors, both in the London market and internationally. We look forward to his contribution to our board.”
