What are the responsibilities of business in the great shift to sustainability? The Macro Memo podcast talks reporting and ethics, as international leaders meet at COP28 in Dubai to discuss the campaign against carbon emissions.

The podcast team—Mark Kennedy and George Lagarias of Mazars, and Gavin Hinks, of Board Agenda—also looks at efforts by the US and European Union to ease tensions with China: why it’s happening now and whether it will produce better trade prospects.

Lastly, the programme asks whether central banks in the US, UK and EU might consider an interest rate cut for Christmas and, if not, when business can expect cheaper money.

All this and more in Board Agenda’s podcast series, The Macro Memo: the global trends briefing for boards and directors. You can access it via Apple, Spotify and wherever you get your podcasts.
