
The OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) Corporate Governance Committee has appointed a new president and two new vice presidents at a meeting in Paris.
The committee elected the new president, Masato Kanda (Japan), and the two vice presidents, Bill Pelton (USA) and Gabriela Dias Figueiredo (current vice president of the Portuguese Securities Market Commission) on 15 November.
The committee has 35 members and several associate members and guests (where countries are in the application stage or intend to apply) but also institutional members, such as the IMF, the World Bank, IOSCO, ESMA, the US, the BIAC and the TUAC.
