Board Agenda today launches a Covid-19 Risk Survey in partnership with Mazars, the international auditing and accounting firm. The research and report are also produced in association with the INSEAD Corporate Governance Centre.
The survey aims to reveal significant insight into preparedness and board reaction to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Covid-19 presents companies and their boards with an unprecedented challenge. The economic upheaval is unlike anything seen since the financial crisis of 2008. Government policies to fight the virus have transformed the business landscape and forced many into action to safeguard their employees and an urgent review of their strategies, operating models and supply chains.
The survey aims at shining a light on whether boards and their companies were prepared for a risk on the scale of Covid-19, how they have reacted and whether boards believe their actions so far have been adequate to the task.
We examine issues such as policy reviews, engagement with stakeholders, communications issues, business strategy and financial planning.
Covid-19 represents an unparalleled event in modern history. How boards respond now and their readiness for such an event will provide important insight into how they survive the crisis.
We very much hope you will be interested in taking part. There are 19 questions and the survey should take no more than 7 minutes to complete. Individual responses to the survey will be kept confidential and only reported in aggregate.
