Hollywood Bowl, the UK and Canada ten-pin bowling operator, has announced that Rachel Addison will be appointed as an independent non-executive director of the company, and as a member of the audit, remuneration and nomination committees.

Addison has some 30 years of finance and operational management experience and has held a number of senior leadership and board positions across media and technology businesses, including as chief financial officer at Future plc and T1 Media Limited.

Addison has also held senior roles at Reach plc, Local World Limited, Northcliffe Media Limited and Boots. She started her career at Arthur Andersen.

Currently serving as a NED and audit committee chair at Watkin Jones plc and Marlowe plc, Addison is also a non-executive director of Gamma Communications plc, Mango Publishing and Wates Group Limited. From March 2022 until May this year, she served as a NED of Hyve Group plc.
