Reckitt Benckiser Group plc—trading as Reckitt—today announced the appointment of Tamara Ingram to its board as a non-executive director and member of the audit committee.
Ingram was the global chair of Wunderman Thompson until the end of 2020, following a prestigious executive career in advertising and marketing. She held a number of senior agency leadership roles, including as global CEO of J Walter Thompson, EVP of Grey, CEO of McCann Worldgroup in London and CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi’s London office.
Commenting on the appointment, Chris Sinclair, chair of the board, said: “I am delighted that Tamara has agreed to join the Reckitt board. She is an outstanding leader, with considerable expertise in global marketing services and has led renowned marketing campaigns for household brands around the world. We welcome the value she will bring to the board.”
Ingram is currently a non-executive director of Marks and Spencer Group and chair of its ESG committee. She is also a NED at Intertek Group and Marsh & McLennan. She has in the past served as a NED of the Sage Group and Serco Group, and is currently chair of the trustees of Asthma + Lung UK.
