Tesco has announced that Caroline Silver will be joining its board as a non-executive director from 1 October. She will also be appointed as a member of the audit committee.
Silver is currently chair of healthcare company PZ Cussons, a non-executive director of BUPA and of The Intercontinental Exchange, Inc, where she also chairs ICE Clear Europe. She is a member of the international advisory board of Adobe, an advisory partner at Moelis & Company and a member of the V&A Foundation. Previously, she was a V&A trustee, a NED at Meggitt PLC and M&G PLC, and on the board of the London Ambulance Service NHS Trust.
Silver spent over 30 years in the investment banking sector and was most recently a partner and managing director at Moelis & Company. A chartered accountant, she has held senior corporate finance and M&A roles at Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch. She started her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
