Britvic plc has announced the appointment of Romeo Lacerda to the board as a non-executive director and member of the audit committee and nomination committee. His appointment takes effect from 27 March 2024.
Lacerda brings 35 years of extensive commercial experience in the FMCG sector, having started his career at Unilever, before moving to Kraft Foods in 1995, which later became Mondelēz.
During this time, Lacerda spent 15 years working in commercial strategy and sales roles in Brazil, before taking on numerous Mondelēz president roles across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In 2021, he joined vehicle retail business Inchcape plc as chief executive officer, Americas.
