Balfour Beatty has announced the appointment of Gabrielle (Gabby) Costigan MBE to its board as a NED. Following the international infrastructure company’s AGM on 9 May, she will succeed Stuart Doughty CMG as chair of the safety & sustainability committee.
Costigan is an aeronautical engineer with a diverse international career including 21 years in the Australian Army. She was previously CEO of Linfox International Group, a logistics business. In 2017, she joined BAE Systems plc as chief executive officer of BAE Systems Australia, before being promoted to her current role of group managing director, business development and a member of the executive committee.
