Costain Group PLC has announced that Steve Mogford and Amanda Fisher will be appointed to the board, on 1 November 2023 and 1 December 2023 respectively, as independent non-executive directors.

Mogford and Fisher will become members of the company’s audit, nomination and remuneration committees.

Fisher was CEO of construction engineering company Amey, from 2019 until 2022, prior to which she held senior roles at Balfour Beatty and Alfred McAlpine.

Mogford was CEO of water company United Utilities from 2011 until March 2023, and previously spent 30 years at BAE Systems. He is senior independent director of QinetiQ Group and was previously senior independent director of G4S.
