ITV plc has announced the appointment of Dawn Allen to its board as a non-executive director and member of its audit and risk committee.

Allen is a commercial and highly strategic chief financial officer who has held global roles in large scale businesses across consumer-related sectors. She was appointed CFO of Tate & Lyle PLC in May 2022.

Formerly, Allen was global CFO & VP for global transformation at food giant Mars where, during a 25-year career, she held a number of key senior financial roles in Europe and the US.

Andrew Cosslett, ITV’s chair, said: “Dawn has extensive financial, commercial and international experience which will further strengthen the diverse mix of expertise and experience on the ITV board. On behalf of the board, I am delighted to welcome Dawn to ITV.”
