Vodafone Group has announced the appointment of Stephen Carter as a non-executive director.
Carter is chief executive of B2B events and academic knowledge group Informa, and previously held various senior executive positions at tech company Alcatel-Lucent. He was also the first CEO of communications regulator Ofcom and is a former director and UK CEO of the J Walter Thompson advertising group. He is currently a non-executive director at United Utilities and PA Media.
Carter will join the board following the company’s AGM on 26 July, subject to shareholder approval.
