Advertising and communications company WPP has appointed Simon Dingemans to its board as a non-executive director.
Dingemans is a senior advisor at global investment firm The Carlyle Group, and is a former chief financial officer of GlaxoSmithKline. Prior to GSK, he held senior positions at Goldman Sachs, including head of UK investment banking. He has also served as chair of the Financial Reporting Council and the 100 Group.
Dingemans will serve as a member of WPP’s audit committee.
