Daniela Barone Soares OBE and Julia Wilson will join the board of the British international distributor in December.

Sir John Kingman will join as a NED and take over from Crawford Gillies as chair of the group’s ring-fenced banking arm, Barclays UK.

Sir Ian will be replaced by Crawford Gillies from 1 January, but will remain on the Barclays board until the AGM in May.
