Jean Jinghan Chen is chair professor of accounting and finance and the dean of Liverpool International Business School in China. Prior to this she was dean of Southampton Business School and a chair professor in accounting and finance at the University of Southampton. Professor Chen serves as an executive director on the Council of the Association of Business Schools (ABS) and also as chair of the ABS International Committee. Her research covers a wide range of topics in the area of accounting and finance, particularly corporate governance, financial reporting, and corporate finance, and is regarded as a world-leading scholar in corporate governance.
