Admiral Group plc has announced the appointment of Fiona Muldoon as an independent non-executive director of the company. She will also join the audit committee. She is currently a NED of Beazley plc and a member of its audit committee.

Muldoon has 30 years’ experience in the insurance and financial services industry. She was chief executive officer of FBD Holdings plc, a listed general insurer in Ireland, from 2015 to 2020. Prior to that, Muldoon was director of credit institutions and insurance supervision at the Central Bank of Ireland, the Irish regulator.

Muldoon spent 17 years of her career with XL group in various progressively senior finance and general management positions, in Dublin, London, and Bermuda.
