Social media company Reddit has appointed Drew Vollero as its first chief financial officer.
Vollero is CFO of security firm Allied Universal and was the first CFO of social media company Snap Inc., where he led the company’s IPO in 2017.
Reddit, which was founded by Steve Huffman and Alexis Ohanian in 2005, is reportedly considering an IPO.
Reddit forum r/wallstreetbets hit the headlines earlier this year when its users triggered a short squeeze on stock of GameStop.
