Poulter, formerly chief executive of Laura Ashley, will join the board of the homewares group with immediate effect.

From 1 March this year, Ajay Kavan and Dan Taylor will become non-executive directors of the UK homewares retailer.

The former Whitbread CEO takes over from interim chair Peter McCormick in early 2023, after clubs voted unanimously to appoint her.

Currently CEO of Domino’s Pizza Group, Paul succeeds the hospitality group’s current chief executive, Alison Brittain, who retires next year.
