Filipe Morais

Dr Filipe Morais is a Lecturer in Governance, Programme Director for the MSc in Management for Future Leaders and a member of both the John Madejski Centre for Reputation and the Centre for Business Ethics and Sustainability at Henley Business School. Experienced in corporate governance, including boards of directors, his research covers strategic leadership, corporate responsibility and sustainability, along with how board members and senior leaders understand and respond to change, complexity and paradox to build positive business impact in business and society. With close ties to industry, he balances being theoretically informed and practically relevant and impactful. His research has featured in leading academic and practitioner journals, industry research reports, case studies, book chapters and books. He supervises PhD students in corporate governance and strategic management. He is also a Partner at Amrop Lisbon office, where he advises on board governance, an advisory board member of the Governance magazine, connected to the Financial Times Non-Executive Director Diploma Program, and a member of the International Editorial Board of California Management Review.
