David Risser is the managing director of Nestor Advisors, the Morrow Sodali company focusing on governance, board effectiveness and organisational design. David has been advising with Nestor Advisors since 2003 and is their UN Global Compact ambassador. He has gained extensive ESG experience in developed and emerging markets, performing governance and board effectiveness reviews, policy advice and research for banks, listed and/or family-controlled companies, private equity firms, state-owned companies, governments, central banks, international organisations and market supervisors. David regularly lectures at the London Stock Exchange and is a member of the OECD MENA Corporate Governance Working Group. Before joining Nestor Advisors in 2003, David established and managed the Economic Studies Department of RSM Salustro Reydel (now KPMG) for the CEE region. David was a board member of private companies and trustee for an international not-for-profit organisation.
