Laurence Capron is a professor of strategy at INSEAD and the Paul Desmarais chaired professor of partnership and active ownership. She is also the programme director of "M&As and Corporate Strategy", one of INSEAD’s executive development programmes. Laurence is a leading expert on M&As, alliances, and business portfolio growth. Her book, "Build, Borrow, or Buy: Solving the Growth Dilemma" (Harvard Business Review Press), co-authored with Professor W. Mitchell, was the recipient of the 2013 Best International Book Awards, by USA Book News, and has been translated into French, Portuguese and Chinese.
