The former Cabinet Office lead non-executive board member joins the building society with effect from today, 1 October.

Sally Orton joins the board on 1 June as an independent non-executive director of the society, and will sit on its audit committee.

Parry succeeds David Roberts as chair, while Gunn Waersted has been appointed as senior independent director.
