Reach NED Wais Shaifta and politician Lord Simon Woolley are joining the retailer as independent non-executive directors.

Moni Mannings becomes a non-executive director of the retailer today, and will be joined by Luke Jensen next month.

White will succeed Allan Leighton in February next year, when Leighton’s nine-year term of office comes to an end.

Khoury-Haq has been interim chief executive officer at the consumer co-operative group since March this year.
