Stephanie is a researcher at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment, University of Oxford. Her thesis is about identifying obstacles in the investment chain when it comes to ESG integration. She is researching why responsible investment is not more mainstream, since the business case has been proven. Her focus is on asset owners, asset managers and (portfolio) companies in the UK, the Netherlands and Germany. In addition, she looks at the ESG rating and ranking industry and the reporting fatigue this causes among companies. Another paper she wrote looks at the diffusion of responsible investment among asset owners. Stephanie holds an MSc in Finance & Investments (Cum Laude and Honours) from Erasmus University in the Netherlands.

Following a career as a professional accountant, chief financial officer, company secretary, management consultant, director and 13 years as head of corporate governance and risk management at ACCA, he now provides executive education and advisory services to the corporate, not-for-profit and public sectors. Paul works with boards and executive teams in assessing and improving their culture, governance and risk management practices to improve organisational performance and resilience. Paris is a responsible investment analyst who started his career as an environmental scientist before moving into the realm of corporate sustainability. As the sustainability executive for a leading FM services provider he was responsible for the company's sustainability and social impact programmes. During this time, Paris gained a comprehensive knowledge of ESG issues including ethical supply chains, diversity and inclusion and resource management.
George Murray is a climate change and sustainability specialist and senior professional support lawyer at Slaughter and May. He has a focus on sustainability reporting, the transition to net zero, and human rights. Previously, he was a government lawyer in the Attorney General’s Office, leading on its response to the Coronavirus Act 2020, Brexit litigation, and the rule of law as it relates to parliamentary Bills, having been at BEIS advising on public law risks relating to heat, energy and climate change.
Dr Ana Nacvalovaite is a researcher specialising in international human rights law and sovereign wealth funds. She is currently working on a three-year research project in the University of Oxford’s Kellogg College Centre for Mutual and Co-owned Business, investigating whether sovereign wealth funds might focus investments globally on local co-operatives as a way of enhancing social and environmental sustainability. An advocate for ethical business and investment practices, she serves as an expert adviser to the British Standards Institution on the Committee of Experts on Sustainable Finance, where she contributes to the development of the Sustainable Finance Framework. Ana is dedicated to raising awareness about the concept of a 'just transition' and the critical role of sustainable finance in supporting the social aspects—the 'S'—within environmental, social and governance (ESG) frameworks.
Kamyar Naficy is the founder and principal of KNECTCOMMS, a strategic communications consultancy to the financial services and fintech sector and to private clients and family offices with a connection to the sector. Kamyar is a communications strategist and consultant with over 20 years’ experience advising businesses, family offices and private clients. Having lived and worked in London, Paris, New York and Los Angeles, Kamyar has a global perspective and a broad international network in business, media and finance. Prior to moving into consultancy, Kamyar worked in senior marketing and communications roles at JP Morgan, London Stock Exchange Group and UniCredit. Earlier in his career, he was a financial analyst in investment banking and a business analyst in management consulting. He is a graduate of the London School of Economics and Cambridge University.
Dr. Vikram Nanda joined the Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas in 2015. He previously held academic positions at Rutgers University, Georgia Tech, Arizona State University, The University of Michigan and The University of Southern California.
