Simon Bishop

Simon Bishop is commercial disputes partner at Hausfeld, specialising in commercial litigation and dispute resolution. He acts for a broad range of clients. Simon also specialises in the confluence between commercial litigation and climate change and acts in both commercial claims connected to climate change issues, and for NGOs in relation to strategic litigation. He has extensive experience with mediation, arbitration, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution, and cutting-edge litigation funding.

Phil Bloomer

Phil Bloomer is the executive director of the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre. He has over 25 years' experience in social justice advocacy and campaigning. Phil joined the Resource Centre after 18 years at Oxfam, including eight as campaigns and policy director and 11 years in Latin America. The Business & Human Rights Resource Centre maintains a public track record of companies' statements under the UK Modern Slavery Act in its Modern Slavery Act Registry.

Evans Boamah

Evans Boamah is a postgraduate researcher at Lancaster University Management School. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Distinction) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. He started his career as a management consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Ghana, assisting the Advisory Business Unit in Ghana and other West African countries. After years of industry experience, he studied for a Master's in Investment Analysis (Distinction) from the University of Stirling, UK. Prior to his doctoral research, he worked as an associate consultant at PwC, Ghana, where he contributed to the recovery and receiverships of companies in Ghana. Evans' research focuses on areas of corporate governance.

Stephen Bonner

Stephen Bonner is a partner in the cyber risk services team at Deloitte, where he focuses on financial services. Before consulting he was group head of information risk management at Barclays. He was inducted into the InfoSec “Hall of Fame” in 2010 and was number 1 on the SC/ISC2 ‘Most Influential 2010’ list. He is currently training to relay swim the English Channel for charity.

Neil Boom

For almost thirty years, Neil Boom has provided PR advice to public companies, professional services firms and other organisations. He set up Gresham PR in 2001 and is a director of the ESG Foundation.

Richard Borghesi

Dr Richard Borghesi is an associate professor of finance at the University of South Florida, Sarasota. His research interests include corporate finance, corruption, market efficiency and prediction markets, and he has published in the Journal of Corporate Finance, Financial Management, Southern Economic Journal, International Journal of Hospitality Management, Finance Research Letters, Journal of Economics and Business, Journal of Economics and Finance, Applied Financial Economics, Applied Economics, and The Journal of Prediction Markets. 

Theo Botha

Theo Botha is a South African shareholder activist and a director of Proxy View, which provides proxy advisory services and ESG/executive compensation research reports on issuers listed on the JSE and A2X in South Africa. He has queried many companies in the area of sound corporate governance, ethics, executive compensation, environmental practices and Black Economic Empowerment. Theo served articles at PricewaterhouseCoopers and went into property broking in 1994. He first became involved in issues of corporate governance in 2002, with his first investment in the Sage Group. Theo is passionate about asking executives of big business tough questions. He is seen as the leading shareholder activist in South Africa, constantly pressing corporates for more transparency and good corporate governance.

Olivier Boutellis-Taft

Olivier has been Accountancy Europe’s CEO since 2006. He benefits from a diverse professional experience, having been a public prosecutor in France, a director with PricewaterhouseCoopers, a board member of the European Policy Centre, a director of XBRL international and a business and policy consultant. He regularly speaks on issues related to European affairs and the impact of technology on accountancy. A lawyer and economist by training, Olivier started his professional career in equestrian sports (jumping).

Jonathan Bowdler

Jonathan Bowdler is head of governance risk and compliance at the International Compliance Association. He is global lead postgraduate qualifications, with overall responsibility for all the ICA postgraduate courses. He has over thirty years of industry experience holding senior governance, risk and compliance roles, and holds an MBA from Henley Business School and a postgraduate diploma in management from Reading University.

Jackie Bowie

Jackie Bowie is chief executive of independent financial risk advisory firm JCRA, and leads the JCRA team across its offices in the UK, the US and Canada. Her client focus is on the private equity sector and hedging risk exposures on interest rates and foreign exchange.

Peter Boyden

Peter Boyden is one of five principals of the Adelante Group and has eight years' experience mentoring senior executives. Prior to his mentoring career, Peter spent 30 years with Unilever in marketing and general management roles, working across five continents. He has experience working in operational roles and in central/regional management positions across Canada, the UK, the Netherlands, Greece and Australia.
