Teresa Parejo-Navajas is a senior executive with more than 25 years’ experience at the intersection of sustainability, industrial policy and business transformation. She most recently served as director-general for Industrial Strategy and SMEs at the Government of Spain, and before that, as the founder and first director of sustainability and social impact at Iberia (IAG Group). As senior advisor to Professor Jeffrey Sachs and coordinator of the Global Pact for the Environment within the United Nations framework, her career uniquely combines government authority, corporate execution and international influence. A professor and researcher for 18 years at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, and visiting scholar at Columbia and Fordham Universities, she was also a regular speaker at COP26, COP28 and Climate Week NYC.
