Scott Lane is a lawyer and technologist with more than 25 years of leadership on ESG risk. He’s the founder and CEO of Speeki, a full-service ESG and sustainability reporting and management partner to large corporates. Scott began his career in law, going on to build a track record of expertise across ESG risk management and corporate governance, spanning anti-corruption, sanctions, ethics and integrity, workplace issues, human rights and human trafficking, and governance. This track record led him to found The Red Flag Group (RFG) in 2006, for which he acted as CEO and chair. RFG is a leading global expert in risk and compliance, which, under Scott’s leadership, has acted for many of the world’s largest companies. Scott exited the business in 2020, when it became part of the London Stock Exchange Group through its acquisition by Refinitiv.
