Ruth Sealy

Ruth Sealy is a professor of leadership at Henley Business School. She is also a visiting professor at Cranfield School of Management and an honorary professor of responsible leadership at the University of Exeter Business School. Ruth researches behavioural corporate governance, including boardroom dynamics and strategic inclusivity, women on boards and leadership. She also explores public policy, such as regulation in government departments, listed companies and the UK's NHS, and individual level career processes, studying work identity, role models and the impact of demography on minority career decisions. Ruth has held several research and leadership roles, including with City University London. An entrepreneur for 10 years before selling her company and retraining as an organisational psychologist, Ruth worked as a consultant for corporates in industries including aerospace and finance, then started a PhD.
