Anna Daroy

Anna Daroy is an international COO and independent NED, leading organisations and industries through complex and transformational changes. Starting her early career with EY and IBM Consulting, her most recent position was as COO then CEO of the Institute of Directors, London. For more than 30 years, Anna has extensively streamlined operations and transformed businesses across USA and Europe, Middle East and Africa in the tech industry, with revenues of up to £13bn. Anna has worked with senior world leaders and has been a key adviser and executive to central governments in technology, infrastructure, transport and security. For more than 14 years, she has been at the forefront in the shaping of the UK telecommunications and consumer energy industries. She led the Government of Jersey, Channel Islands, as COO, where she set the pace in its modernisation and contributed to the island’s digital agenda. Anna was executive director of strategy for Highways England, setting strategy, delivering transformation and initiating the 2050 Transport Vision. She was also COO of the Office of Fair Trading and board adviser in a €4bn tech IPO merger, Sopra-Steria. Anna is also a recently appointed chair of the board of governors of Warwickshire College Group, a council member of the Rural Policy Group and NED chair for TMF, the regulated pan-Channel Islands group.
