Amy Waddington

Amy Waddington is a senior counsel and a key member of Weil’s sustainability and ESG advisory group. She has extensive experience advising on mergers, acquisitions and general corporate and regulatory matters, particularly with transactional issues that intersect with sustainability and impact. Amy supports Weil’s ESG strategy, leading extensive engagement across global practice areas and working closely with clients and specialists to develop effective training and know-how solutions to support the delivery of ESG-relevant client solutions. Amy’s ESG practice covers the core focus areas of energy transition in M+A, financing and funds; sustainability and impact fundraising; sustainability linked financing; disputes and antitrust; regulation; environmental; governance (including ABC risk, cybersecurity and AI); and diligence (including employment and pensions). She works closely with Weil’s internal ESG team, evolving its climate action policies, DE+I and pro bono capabilities and other credentials.
