Mitie Group plc has announced the appointment of Andrew Davies as a non-executive director. He has joined the board, the audit & risk committee, nomination committee and remuneration committee with immediate effect.
Davies currently serves as chair of Southern Water, a role he assumed in July this year. Between May 2016 and January 2025, he served as a non-executive director and senior independent director of Chemring Group plc.
He brings executive leadership experience across infrastructure, construction, defence and regulated sectors, most recently as chief executive of Kier Group plc from April 2019 to October 2025. From 2014 to 2018 he was CEO of Wates Group, and has also held senior leadership roles at BAE Systems plc.
