Great Portland Estates plc (GPE) has announced the appointment of Peter Duffy as a non-executive director from next month. He will also become a member of the audit, remuneration and nomination committees at that time.
Duffy has been the chief executive officer of Mony Group plc (trading as MoneySuperMarket) since September 2020. His previous executive roles have included CEO at Just Eat, chief commercial officer at easyJet and head of marketing at Audi UK, as well as a number of senior commercial roles at Barclays.
Duffy was a non-executive director of Close Brothers Group plc from January 2019 to February 2024, serving also on its nomination, remuneration and risk committees. He was also previously President of the Incorporated Society of British Advertisers, the UK trade body for leading British advertisers.
Commenting on the appointment, GPE chair William Eccleshare said: “I am delighted that Peter will be joining the GPE Board, bringing his considerable commercial, operational and recent non-executive experience. The Board and I very much look forward to working with him.”
