ASOS Plc has announced the appointment of Jon Kamaluddin as an independent non-executive director. He will chair the company’s audit committee and will serve as a member of the remuneration committee.
Kamaluddin brings more than two decades of experience across international retail, finance and technology sectors. Kamaluddin was previously an executive director of ASOS, initially serving as finance director from 2004 to 2009, and later as international director from 2009 to 2013.
In addition, Kamaluddin has held senior board roles including chair of Klarna Bank AB, chair of Job & Talent Limited and senior independent director and audit committee chair at Farfetch. He is currently an independent adviser to Felix Capital and a director of the Secret Linen Store Limited.
Following Natasja Laheij’s appointment as chair of the company effective today, Laheij will chair the nomination committee and José Manuel Martínez Gutiérrez will join the nomination committee with immediate effect. Laheij will step down as audit committee chair and member of the remuneration committee with effect from 1 December 2025.
