Centrica plc has announced the appointment of Frank Mastiaux as a non-executive director of the company. He will also join the company’s safety, environment and sustainability committee.
Mastiaux is an experienced executive and board member, with more than three decades in the energy industry. He served as CEO of Energie Baden-Württemberg AG (EnBW) from 2012 to 2022. Prior to that, he held senior roles at BP and E.ON, including being CEO of E.ON Climate & Renewables and CEO of BP’s global LPG business.
Mastiaux currently serves as chair of Sunfire SE, a hydrogen technology company, and is an advisory board member at Boehringer Ingelheim. He was previously a supervisory board member at Alstom Group.
