Johnson Matthey has announced the appointment of Andrew Cosslett CBE as non-executive chair of the board with effect from the conclusion of today’s AGM.
Upon joining the board, he will also become a member and chair of the nomination committee and member of the societal value committee.
Cosslett is an experienced chair and has held a number of senior executive and non-executive roles across a range of sectors, including consumer goods, hospitality and media.
Cosslett is chair of ITV plc and has been a director of ITV since June 2022. He previously served as chair of Kingfisher plc and the Rugby Football Union and is a former CEO of both InterContinental Hotels Group PLC and Fitness First.
