Pearson Plc has announced the appointment of Arden Hoffman as an independent non-executive director, with effect from 1 June 2025.
Hoffman is the chief people officer at General Motors, a position she has held since 2023. Before that, she held the same role at self-driving vehicle maker Cruise. She has also held senior human resources positions at Dropbox, Google and Goldman Sachs.
