Global betting and gaming company evoke plc has announced the appointment of Susan Standiford as an independent non-executive director and member of the audit & risk committee, with effect from 1 November 2024.
The evoke group, incorporated in Gibraltar and headquartered in London, owns and operates brands that include William Hill, 888 and Mr Green.
Standiford is currently an independent non-executive director and chair of the technology committee at Stibo Software Group A/S, which provides software solutions for data management and media and publishing verticals, and a non-executive director at Didimo, a visual AI company. She was previously an independent non-executive and chair of the technology committee at SimCorp, a Danish fintech.
In her executive career, Standiford held several leadership positions including chief product and technology officer at StepStone, chief technology officer at IKEA Retail, CTO and COO at Zeal Network, and CTO at RueLaLa. She gained product, technology and managerial experience from various industries at companies such as Oracle, Disney and Travelocity.
