Ryanair Holdings plc has announced that Amber Rudd and Jinane Laghrari Laabi have agreed to join the board of Ryanair as non-executive directors from 1 July 2024.
Rudd, whose business background was in banking and recruitment, was a UK MP between 2010 and 2019. In addition to holding the roles of home secretary, secretary of state for work and pensions and minister for women and equalities, Rudd served as secretary of state for energy and climate change from 2015 to 2016. She is a non-executive director of Centrica plc and Pinwheel, and an adviser to businesses including Energy One, Equinor, FGS, Centerview Partners and Phoenix Group.
Jinane Laghrari Laabi is a former partner with McKinsey & Co (Casablanca) covering Morocco, Africa & Middle East. She is a non-executive director of Aluminium Du Maroc (a public listed company in Morocco).
