Gordon Wilson has become chair of the board of Virgin Experience Days, following Equistone Partners Europe’s recent acquisition of a majority stake in the business.
Currently chair of Ambassador Cruise Line and Nucleus Financial Platforms Limited, Wilson is also a member of the supervisory board of BCD Holdings. Prior to these appointments, he was a non-executive director at William Hill PLC until its sale to Caesars Entertainment in 2021 and chair of Interactive Investor until its sale to abrdn this year.
In his 30-year career in digital transformation and distribution, Wilson served as president and CEO of Travelport, a global travel commerce platform providing the mobile apps for easyJet, Singapore Airlines and Etihad amongst others, and the primary systems of Delta Airlines/Virgin Atlantic.
