Spire Healthcare Group has appointed Paula Bobbett, Debbie White and Natalie Ceeney CBE to its board. They will replace three NEDs–Adèle Anderson, Tony Bourne and Simon Rowlands–who do not intend to seek re-election at the group’s AGM in May 2023.
Bobbett will join as an independent non-executive director from 1 November this year. She is currently chief digital officer at Boots UK. Prior to joining Boots in 2020, she held senior roles at Dixons Carphone and Avon.
White joins in February next year. Currently the interim HR director of BT, she was previously CEO of Interserve Group for two years. White has been global chief executive officer of Sodexo Healthcare and Sodexo Government, and held various executive roles, including at AstraZeneca and PwC. White is a NED at Howden Joinery Group plc.
Ceeney is a non-executive director of Anglian Water Services, Openreach, Ford Credit Europe and Liverpool Financial Services Ltd (LV=). She will chair Spire’s remuneration committee from 12 May 2023. Ceeney’s career includes executive roles at HM Courts & Tribunals Service, the Financial Ombudsman Service, the National Archives and as a member of HSBC’s UK executive team.
Sir Ian Cheshire, Spire Healthcare’s non-executive chair, said: “We are delighted that Paula, Debbie and Natalie have agreed to join Spire’s Board. The breadth of their expertise and experience will be a highly valuable addition to our board and the company.”
