Insurers Allianz Partners UK and Ireland have announced that Tim Tozer will step down from his role as CEO at the end of September. He will be succeeded by Lee Taylor, currently chief sales officer for UK and Ireland.
Tozer will remain in the UK and Ireland business as he will become non-executive chairman, replacing Mike Webb, who is now retiring.
As CEO, Taylor will report to Alexis Obligi, the company’s regional CEO for Western Europe, Latin America and MEA (Middle East and Africa). Taylor has spent 15 years in the UK business, joining in 2006 as head of warranty and service programmes. He has held a number of management positions, including regional sales officer for Northern Europe, UK sales director and his current role, CSO for UK and Ireland.
Taylor comments: “I am delighted to have this opportunity to lead the UK and Ireland business as CEO. My aspiration for the business is to continue the profitable growth established by Tim, while supporting our clients and consumers through some of the ongoing challenges facing our markets. Providing a stable environment for colleagues in these uncertain times will also be key in enabling them to deliver customer-centric services and peace of mind.”
