Fast-food giant McDonald’s has promoted Ian Borden to be its chief financial officer, moving from his current role as president of international operations, which he has held since 2019. He will relocate to the company’s Chicago headquarters.
Canadian-born Borden joined McDonald’s in 1994, and has previously served as the chain’s president of international developmental licensed and foundational markets; vice-president and chief financial officer of Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa; regional VP of Eastern Europe; managing director of McDonald’s Ukraine; and VP and CFO of McDonald’s Russia and Eastern Europe.
