After two years on the board of online fashion group Boohoo as a non-executive director, Shaun McCabe will become its chief financial officer later this year.
McCabe is leaving his role at Trainline plc, where he was CFO. Boohoo’s outgoing CFO, Neil Catto, will remain on the group’s board, with responsibility for strategic projects.
Mahmud Kamani, the group’s executive chair, said it had been “a great pleasure to work with Shaun over the last two years and we are delighted to have him onboard in his new capacity later this year. His digital and sector experience at Trainline, Asos and Amazon will be key to driving the Group’s next stage of growth.”
McCabe’s non-executive directorial duties included chairing the group’s audit and risk committees, as well as sitting on the remuneration, ESG and nomination committees.
