Facilities management and professional services group Mitie has announced the appointment of Chet Patel and Salma Shah as non-executive directors.

Patel is chief commercial officer and managing director, Americas, at BT Global. He has joined Mitie’s audit committee and remuneration committee.

Shah is a partner at Portland Communications and previously held special adviser roles in government, including at the Home Office. She has joined Mitie’s remuneration committee and the social value & responsible business committee.
