Chief operating officer Brachlianoff will take over as Veolia CEO from Antoine Frérot in July, with Frérot remaining as chair.
Estelle Brachlianoff has been appointed as the next chief executive officer of waste and resources management group Veolia. Brachlianoff has been Veolia’s chief operating officer since 2018. She joined the company in 2005 and has held various senior positions, including senior executive vice president UK & Ireland. In a governance shake-up, the functions of Veolia CEO and chair will be separated from July this year, when Brachlianoff takes up her new role. Antoine Frérot will step down as CEO but remain as chair of the Veolia board.
