Direct Line Insurance Group has appointed Tracy Corrigan as an independent non-executive director.
Corrigan is a former chief strategy officer at Dow Jones, and previously worked for News Corp as editor-in-chief, Europe, and as digital editor of The Wall Street Journal. She was a columnist for The Daily Telegraph and held various positions for the Financial Times, including as editor of the Lex column and editor of FT.com.
Corrigan will join the board on 1 November.
