Barbara Staehelin has joined the board of cell-based therapeutics company ReNeuron Group as senior independent non-executive director.

Staehelin has led and co-founded four life science companies over a 30-year career in the international life sciences and technology sectors. She is a former member of the global executive committee of Roche Diagnostics and sits on the board at health insurance group Assura.

Iain Ross, chair of ReNeuron, said: “I am delighted to welcome Barbara to the ReNeuron board as a non-executive director. She brings a wealth of market development experience in the medical services and biotech sectors and a strong track record in corporate governance.
