Dame Alison Carnwath has joined the board of EG Group, the international fuel retailer, as a non-executive director and chair of the audit committee.
Dame Alison is a former chair of Land Securities, and has served as a director at BP, Friends Provident, Gallaher, Barclays and Man Group. She is currently chair of the audit committee at Zurich Insurance and BASF and a non-executive at Paccar.
Stuart Rose, who was appointed chair of EG Group in January, said: “I am delighted to welcome Dame Alison to EG Group’s board.
