M&S has announced the creation of an ESG board sub-committee, alongside plans to re-launch its Plan A sustainability programme.
The committee will be chaired by non-executive director Tamara Ingram, who will be joined by non-executive director Sapna Sood and M&S chair Archie Norman.
Norman said in a statement: “Tamara’s deep understanding of the customer and Sapna’s experience of leading global supply chains and previous board experience in sustainability will ensure the committee provides robust oversight and challenge.”
He added that the committee’s first task would be to agree a timetable for the Plan A re-launch next year.
